Artist projects, independent publishers, limited edition books, art catalogues, and niche artisanal publishing ventures: Dante61, the new bookshop of the Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo, is born with the aim of promoting visual culture and new editorial practices—where the book becomes an exhibition space and the page a platform for experimentation.
The bookshop will feature titles from both Italian and international publishers who treat the book as an artist’s manifesto, alongside publications produced by the Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo itself.
A new space dedicated to contemporary publishing, Dante61 explores—through visual narratives—the boundaries between book and artwork, adopting an interdisciplinary approach. The initiative is developed in synergy with emerging artists and writers, and in continuity with the cultural programming of the adjacent former Church of Sant’Agnese.
