Anterselva reflects on memory and the illusion of boundaries. Sounds and images explore the interactions between humans, nature, and lived experience in the area of Rasun-Anterselva (BZ), along the Italian-Austrian border.
Act I – Rasine (20′) | Evokes a layered phonetic landscape shaped by time: the archaic echo of the toponym from which the valley’s modern name originates. This act is a voice that emerges from the margins and dissolves into resonance.
Act II – Trovante (20′) | Captures the presence of glacial erratics—silent witnesses of a movement frozen in time. The landscape speaks in fragments, in breath and erosion. In this act, boundaries shift, crumble, and reassemble.
Eleven-Fortytwo | An artistic duo investigating the interaction between space and time through the persistence of vision and sound. Their work blends the timbre of the accordion with electronic composition, creating immersive sound and visual landscapes.
Luca Fattore (Venice, 1990) holds a degree in design from the Iuav University of Venice; his research focuses on the relationship between light, sound, and space.
Mauro Scaggiante (Venice, 1990) is an accordionist who graduated from the A. Steffani Conservatory in Castelfranco. He studied improvisation at the Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen and Freiburg.
