For this first appointment, a sort of restitution to the city, the Foundation presented the exhibition Uno spazio ritrovato. Opere storiche e contemporanee nella Nuova Sant’Agnese (A rediscovered space. Historical and contemporary works in the New Saint Agnes) curated by Riccardo Caldura, Director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.
This first set up tells about the history of this place, and the future link to contemporary arts, the dialogue between past and present that involves ancient paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, an altarpiece by Giandomenico Tiepolo and works by Jannis Kounellis, Tapies, Dubuffet, Manzoni, Fontana, Vedova, Nitsch and others.
