Dante61

Artist projects, independent publishers, limited edition books, art catalogues, and niche artisanal publishing: Dante61, the new bookshop of the Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo, was created with the aim of promoting visual cultures and new editorial practices, where the book becomes an exhibition space and the page an opportunity for experimentation.

The bookshop will feature titles from Italian and international publishers that treat the book as an artist’s manifesto, alongside publications produced by the Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo. It is a new space for contemporary publishing, exploring the boundaries between books and works of art through image-based storytelling and an interdisciplinary approach. All of this takes place in synergy with both emerging and established artists and writers, and in continuity with the cultural offerings of the adjacent space in the former Church of Sant’Agnese.
