On 25.05, the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Padua held the last of a cycle of lessons dedicated to the restoration and site-specific work Resistenza e Liberazione (Resistance and Liberation) by Jannis Kounellis from 1995 realized in the Cortile Nuovo of Palazzo del Bo, historic seat of the University of Padua. The restoration carried out in 2021 thanks to the support of the Foundation was a careful maintenance and recovery of the work in compliance with the artist’s intentions in order to guarantee its physical integrity and the transmission of its historical and symbolic value in the future.
