From the 7th of May to the 18th of July 2019, on the occasion of the 58 International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, Ferro Fini Palace hosted the exhibition “Alberto Biasi. Between reality and imagination”. Promoted by the Veneto Regional Council in collaboration with the Alberto Biasi Archive and Alberto Peruzzo Foundation, the exhibition paid tribute to one of the protagonists of Italian Art in the second half of the 20th Century, Alberto Biasi, retracing his sixty year career through the presentation of a valuable selection of works significantly representative of the different phases of his research.
The artistic research of Biasi consists in the investigation conducted on the effects and optical illusions, on the movement creation starting from the static nature of the support, through the use of traditional materials such as painting, but also through unusual materials such as the PVC. In the elegant rooms of Palazzo Ferro Fini have been exhibited a selection of historical and recent works belonging to four different production cycles.
