Electric Body

25.05.2025

On Sunday, May 25 at 3:00 PM, a concert-performance will take place at Spazio Sant’Agnese, curated by the Electronic Music School of the Pollini Conservatory in Padua (SaMPL – Sound and Music Processing Lab).
Following the performance, the audience will be presented with the first study developed through a workshop that brought together Conservatory students and dancers from Spaziodanza Padova. In this collaboration, the body becomes a generator of sound, with movement captured by sensors driving the sonic experimentation.

Pollini Electroacoustic Ensemble | The ensemble’s work is driven by an experimental approach to technology, seen as a tool to support musical creativity and challenge conventional definitions of both performer and instrument. During performances, the ensemble makes use of multimodal and interactive interfaces—designed and built by the musicians themselves—to explore new sonic possibilities in a musical context that embraces interpretative freedom and elements of improvisation.

Spaziodanza Padova | The Performative Events section was created with the aim of exploring new artistic forms, with a particular focus on training and supporting young artists in the development of original and innovative creative projects. The body takes center stage in the performance space, engaging in a continuous and dynamic dialogue with new contemporary languages.
